The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky THE ANIMATION (英雄伝説 空の軌跡 THE ANIMATION Eiyuu Densest Sora no Kiseki Jii Animeshonn) is the OVA adaptation of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC. It is a 2 episode-release to commemorate Falcom's 30th anniversary, with Episode 1 was released on November 25, 2011, and Episode 2 on February 24, 2012.

Episode 1 Summary[]
After Joshua leaves Estelle, the episode by the end of the 1st chapter to the 2nd chapter.
- The boss battle against the Storm Bringer takes place outside the Jenis Academy old schoolhouse.
- Estelle and Tita meets Renne for the first time in Bose City, not Air-Letten.
- Schera and Agate teams the party while the game options either.
- The gang faces against Walter and the Abyss Worms.
- Estelle gets cornered by Walter until Joshua comes to the rescue instead of Zane
- Renne reveals her true colors at the battle's end in the Epicenter, not at Grancel Harbour.
Episode 2 Summary[]
Estelle continues her search for Joshua through mental adversities towards the truth.
- Rather than the main party, it was Joshua and the Capua Sky Bandits who infiltrated the Lakeside Laboratory, only to be confronted by Campanella on the Glorious.
- The episode fast-forwards the strange mist events around City of Rolent to the navigation through Mistwald.
- Schera faces Luciola, being the only one awake with the rest of the party fainted.
- Estelle gets kidnapped by Renne at the Esmelas Tower, not at the Lakeside Laboratory.
- Leonhardt explains about Joshua's past to Estelle in the bay hangar, not in her cell.
