Remnant Island is a small, coastal island that lies in the middle of the Sciencia Sea in Nayuta no Kiseki. It is here where the harbor town Saints-Elysees is located and is the birthplace of Nayuta Herschel, his sister and his family.

On the island, a strange phenomena occurs where shooting stars and ruins are continually falling from the stars, hence its name. Mysterious crystals known as 'Star Fragments' have also fallen to the ground and been discovered here.
