Muse (ミューズ Myuzzu) is a character and the First Princess of El Phildin in The Legend of Heroes: A Tear of Vermillion. Muse is an acronym for her real name which is Mildine Uriel Silvania Esmelas.

Muse is an attractive young woman with dark hair. She is considered a tomboy and maintains a confident attitude. As a result, she likes to escape from the castle. Although she's arrogant and has a great deal of pride, she cares much about the kingdom's future and its inhabitants. Also, she may be rough to everyone, but she is a kind person inside.
Background[]
Muse is first encountered in the sewers beneath the city of Phildin. She assists Avin, Mile, and Martie when they travel to Tibri to rescue the hostages. At first, everyone tells her to stay in the capital, but Muse pushes her way into the party. When they encountered General Diren, he reveals Muse's identity and orders her to go back to the castle, but she refuses. Later, she saves Avin and Rutice from Mile's father, who seems to be controlled by Octum's Apostles. She's concerned about the increased monster activities, and also expressed her condolences about Mile. When Martie is talking about his activities as a Prime Minister, Muse tells him to shut up. After this, both Muse and Martie rejoin the party. In the end, Muse and Martie goes to the Sealed Land. They are helping the group fight off Octum's Apostles and other monsters, and are the first one's to appear in front of the group. Along with the rest of Avin's friends who came to help in the Sealed Land, she's captured by the monsters as is shown by Bellias but is freed once Octum is defeated.
